How do I sell my items?
Selling your items with Cheeky Cherub is hassle-free. Our aim is to make the selling process as simple as possible.
To sell with us you simply need to complete our online submission form listing your items. As soon as your items are accepted for sale on Cheeky Cherub, you can either send the items directly to us or we will arrange for a courier (£15 fee) to collect the items from you at your convenience. We photograph and upload all your items so you don’t have to.

Do I need to send you pictures of my items?
We need you to send us a picture of your item(s) so that we can accurately price it. A simple picture taken from your phone is all we need to do this. If your item(s) are approved for sale on Cheeky Cherub we will then take all the necessary professional photographs for the listing.
How do I send my items to you?
You can either send your items to us at: Cheeky Cherub, 14 Queensberry Mews West, London, SW7 2DU or we can arrange a courier (for a fee) to collect the item(s) from you at your convenience.
You can also drop your items directly to us at our store at 78 St John's Wood High Street, London NW8 7SH.
All you need to do is pick which option you’d prefer during the submission process, or send us an email.
How do you value my items?
We are very experienced in the pricing of secondhand items. This is done on a number of factors: the condition, the cleanliness and the original price. We generally price items at 30%-80% off the original retail price.
What happens if I disagree with your valuation?
We hope that we are always able to agree a price that you are comfortable with. However, if you disagree with our valuation there is no obligation to sell your item with us. We will return the item(s) to you but you will be responsible for any postage / shipping costs.
Where do you store my items?
All items are stored safely in our fully secure storage facility.
Who is responsible for insuring my items?
Cheeky Cherub is comprehensively and professionally insured to cover all your items. If you require any further details please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What commission do you charge?
44% commission of the full purchase price of any item sold. There are no additional hidden costs.
If you don't wish to submit your items online, you can drop off your items at our St John's Wood store; in this instance we charge a 50% commission.
Are there any additional hidden costs?
No, there are no additional hidden costs. Our aim is to be as transparent as possible with no hidden extras, other than shipping or courier collection.
When will I get paid if my item is sold?
You will be paid on the first day of week of the week 14 days after your item has sold. You must ensure that you have checked your bank details in your Cheeky Cherub account so that prompt payment can be made.
What happens if my items do not sell?
If your item doesn’t sell within 3 months we will contact you and you can decide whether to: drop the price, have the item returned or donate the item to charity. Please note that you will be responsible for any shipping costs of returning the unsold item to you.
Can you donate any of my unsold items to charity?
Yes, we are more than happy to donate any unsold items to charity.
What if I want my item back?
You can request your item back at any time but will be responsible for any shipping costs of returning the unsold item to you.
Buying with us
Do I need an account to buy items?
No, you do not need an account to buy items from Cheeky Cherub. We would love for you to set-up an account with us but you can absolutely buy as a guest too.
Do you authenticate items?
Yes. Each item is fully and meticulously checked before it is listed on Cheeky Cherub. We do not accept fake or counterfeit merchandise. If we suspect, for any reason, that an item is not authentic we will contact the seller for proof of purchase to establish the authenticity.
Cheeky Cherub will fully cooperate with all relevant authorities seeking to track down the source of stolen or counterfeit items which includes revealing the contact information of sellers submitting counterfeit goods.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit and credit card payments as well as Pay Pal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
If I buy an item, how long will it take to arrive?
Your item should arrive within 3-5 working days from the date of order.
Can I track my order?
Yes, you can track any order purchased from Cheeky Cherub. This information will be emailed to you and will be stored in your account (if you set one up).
Can I get a refund?
No, however, you are entitled to a credit note to the value of the item purchased provided that you return the item to us in the condition sold within 14 days of purchase. The credit note will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Collection and shipping
How are my items sent to you / collected?
You can either send your items to us at: Cheeky Cherub, 71 Townmead Road, SW6 2ST or we can arrange a courier (£15 fee) to collect the item(s) from you at your convenience. All you need to do is pick which option you’d prefer during the submission process.
How should I pack my items?
You should ensure that any items that could be broken are packed securely and safely. We do not have any specific requirements as to how the items should be packed but all items should be sent to us in a clean, saleable condition.
Who pays for the collection / shipping of my items?
You are responsible for any shipping or courier costs in respect of the items.
What happens if my items are lost in transit?
If your item is lost in transit to us, unfortunately that is your responsibility. You would have to pick this up directly with Royal Mail or the courier company.
If your item is lost in transit to a buyer we will refund you the agreed sale price of the item(s).
What protocols are being followed to ensure item(s) are safe?
Cheeky Cherub follows all government and Public Health England advice. Our team’s and your safety is our number one priority. All staff wear face masks and gloves and regularly wash their hands. We rigorously clean our packaging facilities.
Is Covid-19 impacting delivery times/dates?
Cheeky Cherub is still fulfilling all online orders without issue. Rest assured that if there are any developments or issues that arise which may impact an order you will be updated immediately.
